Education

Deborah pursued art and design at the University of Arkansas and either studied under or participated in workshops led by Henry Hensche, Wolf Kahn, Jane Wilson, Don Lee, Josepha Vaughn, and Maggie Taylor. She is a member of Alameda Art Association, NAPP National Association of Photoshop Professionals, the Alameda Women Artists, and the Frank Bette Center for the Arts where she exhibits regularly.

Artist Statement

Deborah’s work explores multiple dimensions ranging from representational figurative, still life and landscape paintings to the more surreal landscape of dreamwork and personal transformative images. Her materials vary depending upon the project, but may encompass oil painting, pastel, acrylic and mixed media, as well as photography and digitally-enhanced imagery.
